Mode Commercial Property Management, a Scottsdale-based boutique commercial property management company, recently hired commercial property management veteran, David Verwer, CCIM, as their director of real estate operations.

Verwer joins MODE Commercial Property Management with more than 30 years of experience and over $175 million of completed sales and leasing activity throughout his career. He began his commercial real estate career in Northern California as senior vice president of property management for more than 6,000 apartment units. A decade later, Verwer transitioned into commercial real estate brokerage by beginning a new commercial investment division for RE/MAX Napa Valley. Later in his career, Verwer received his Arizona real estate broker license and partnered with two other CCIMs to build a brokerage company within Eagle Commercial Realty Services, AMO, before joining Commercial Properties Inc. He was the Central Arizona CCIM Chapter President in 2008 and Chair of Legislative Affairs for CCIM National in 2010. Verwer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Economics from Westmont College.

“I have been involved in a variety of sales and marketing roles for most of my career, primarily within the commercial and investment real estate community, but my real strength and ultimately greatest job satisfaction has always come through working with and managing people,” said Verwer. “I’m so excited to be getting back to my passion and join the hard working team of MODE.”

As director of real estate operations for MODE, Verwer will oversee management services that are delivered to clients. With his strong entrepreneurial spirit, he will encourage his team to connect with clients as they build strong relationships as well as work alongside them to assist in solving their investment or real estate requirements.

“We are happy to have David on our team and excited to see how he will help us grow in 2017,” said Patty Hartley, president and designated broker of MODE. “With David’s extensive background, we are confident that he will be a great asset and and enable us to further grow our client relationships.” – read more at cem-az.com
